Hands-on cooking classes since 2000
Sharpen your cooking skills with intensive, hands-on classes taught by chef Abigail Hitchcock right in her Camaje kitchen and enjoyed in the cozy restaurant. Classes are open to all levels; some include shopping trips to nearby markets. August note: Fresh from a successful event in the Dominican Republic, Chef Abigail is heading to Brantôme, France, to lead students in shopping and cooking for their own Gallic feast. Camaje group classes will be back in September (see schedule above), but throughout August, there are still plenty of opportunities to arrange a private class, wine/liquor tasting, or One Night Stand. One Night Stand:
In this very special class, one or more cooks prepares a three-course meal for a lucky group of family or friends. Choose from the restaurant’s seasonal menu, a custom-designed menu, or a theme—for instance, French, Italian, Tapas, mezze, fish techniques, hors d’oeuvre, vegetarian, sushi, Thai, Indian, or Moroccan.
